These Terms govern your use of the Kavach mobile app, operated by Mudit Tiwari (“we”, “us”). By using Kavach, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Kavach helps families stay connected to and watch over an ageing parent — saving life stories via an AI companion (“Saathi”) and surfacing daily check-ins, reminders, a “Notify my family” Help alert and a Document Vault.
You must be 18 or older to use Kavach. By using it, you confirm you are an adult and that, where you add another person's information (such as a parent's), you have their permission to do so.
Saathi is an automated AI companion, not a human. During a Story Call the parent can answer by speaking, and their speech is turned into text in real time by the device's speech recognition so Saathi can respond; the audio is not recorded or stored — only the text transcript of the conversation is saved to your family circle. The conversation and its summary are generated by AI and may be imperfect. You are responsible for what is shared during a call. You can delete a saved story at any time by deleting it or your account.
If an AI response is ever offensive, inappropriate, or wrong, you can report it — use the report option available in the app, or email us at app.help.suppot@gmail.com. We review reports and take appropriate action.
If Kavach offers paid features: digital purchases and subscriptions made inside the Android app are billed through Google Play Billing, in line with Google Play's Payments policy. Any Razorpay payments are used only for purchases made outside the app (for example, on the web), where applicable. Prices and refund eligibility are shown at purchase, and subscriptions renew until cancelled in the relevant store.
You keep ownership of the content you and your family create (such as stories). You grant us the limited permission needed to host, process and display it to your family circle so the app can work.
We may update, suspend, or discontinue features. We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the extent permitted by law, Kavach is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any failure of reminders, alerts, or third-party services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You may stop using Kavach and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are breached.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
